Victoria Hammond-Turner
Victoria qualified in 1995 as a Therapeutic Radiographer at the University of Liverpool. She is the Technical and Developmental Lead Radiographer at the Berkshire Cancer Centre In Reading.
She has worked clinically since qualifying in various departments in the UK specialising and implementing 2D, 3D, 4D Image Guided Radiotherapy. In 2019 she was asked to lead the departmental project of implementing Surface Guided Radiotherapy by VisionRT with the aim to stop applying permanent marks to patients who required radiotherapy.
Four years on, she has just gone live with her fourth system and all patients having radiotherapy at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading and Bracknell are marker free.
